SLJ Consultancy began in 2020 in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic following our founder Sarah Jones realising her true calling. She experienced a number of personal challenges, that tested her to her limits and ultimately changed
her life forever. She now describes her life “as the right way up”. Sarah used many of the tools herself to rebuild her life that she uses with her clients to ensure they do not have to endure what she has. It is these experiences
alongside her business knowledge that has put her in a truly unique position to help other business owners and entrepeneurs within the trades and construction industry.

Sarah Jones
Director & Business Consultant
Sarah is our Founder. She started her career in the stove industry, whilst she was studying to qualify as a solicitor. She describes herself as a “stove geek”. During the decade of being in the stove and fireplace industry, she gained
extensive knowledge of the trades, Building Regulations, quoting, installing, identifying parts and of course sales.
She continued her career moving into the legal profession and owned a successful law firm for 7 years. She had dealt with many trades and construction clients in her time as a solicitor and with her bubbly personality, they always
warmed to her. In 2020, she found her true calling, in helping business owners and entrepreneurs like you to reach your goals and obtain the success and freedom you desire.
Sarah has personally experienced the rollercoaster of business whilst running her law firm. From core marketing techniques for creating leads, converting leads into sales, to changes in technology to improve efficiency, adjustments
to credit control processes, staffing restructures to name just a few. She will no doubt share with you the challenges she faced and the mistakes she made, so that you can avoid them!
Sarah is dynamic and has a no-nonsense approach, whilst retaining a friendly and open environment for trades and construction businesses like you to approach her on any issues you are facing right now.
It is her commercial advice with her specialist knowledge and experience which will help your business thrive not just survive.
Outside the business world Sarah has a passion for running and boxing. She loves her cars and desribes herself as a “petrolhead”. She is a dog lover, since the loss of her furry best friend Sky she has adopted Fitz a Pomeranian Cross
who is very energetic and keeps her on her toes.
